Who are we?
We are a band, a big noisy band. We like to hit things that ought not be hit. We like to blow on things that ought not be blown. We like to play silly songs in a serious way and serious songs in a silly way, but most of all we love a good kip in a chair.
Quinns Quinney - Dorset's favourite skiffle band - available for pub gigs, private parties, weddings, birthdays, festivals, legal raves, illegal raves and funerals.
What do we do?
Quinns Quinney strum, sweat and sing. We deliver the ultimate rural disco. Expect fast-pumping skiffle, watering cans, dancing and plenty of suitcases.
All you need to provide is a small, sturdy table.
What do we sound like?
Imagine putting a mandolin, a double bass and an acoustic guitar inside a washing machine. Throw in a tambourine, a kazoo, a pint of cider and put it on a 90 minute hot-wash cycle. Hang the lot out to dry on a summer's evening in rural Dorset and you'll get a rough idea of how we sound.
